New year, new single for Filipino Australian artist Grentperez. He just dropped “Dandelion,” a sweet, dreamy, funky track in collaboration with Australian singer-songwriter Ruel.
The track speaks of the ever-relatable fleetingness of romance and the yearning to be with the one you love. “If I could choose anywhere to be, I’d wanna be with you / I’m tired of being away from your side, my dandelion,” the 23-year-old bedroom pop sensation sings.

Its subsidiary FG Cold Storage Corp. developed the refrigerated warehouse with a capacity of 7,200 pallet positions, ensuring efficient space utilization.
As is the character of his hits thus far, Grentperez’s latest single carries his signature charm of genre-bending melodies. Fans can expect more of this unique flavor in his upcoming debut album, “Backflips in a Restaurant,” set to be released Mar. 28.
The full-length album features 13 songs (with two more in the deluxe edition!), including previously released singles “Fuzzy Feeling,” “2DK,” and fresh drop “Dandelion,” which, in an interview with New York-based Paper magazine, he describes as “one of the more pop-y songs on the album.”

I wanted to use this album to express who I am as an artist and a creator, what I have to offer in terms of differing genres and in this case, flavor,” Grentperez says in a release. “Growing up, I soaked up a lot of music from ‘70s soft rock to 2000s R&B, bossa nova, indie, rap. This music effectively influenced my music making, and since my first release in 2021, I’ve been itching to explore and experiment with my sound.”
“As a creativec9taya, I believe my job is to constantly explore and express myself, and with ‘Backflips in a Restaurant,’ I’m taking the steps to do just that,” he says.
